NAPAGA Campground
Whether for a night or a week, stay at our 4-star campgroung and enjoy one of the best campgrounds in Gaspésie.
Location, infrastructures and welcoming smiles
Stay on the archaeological site of Pabos – where our ancestors, just like us, chose to settle. An integral part of the outdoor museum complex, the campground is just a stone’s throw from the exhibits, gift shop, beach, trails, and NAPAGA Bistro.
Formerly known as Camping du Bourg de Pabos, our campground, located by the sea, at the mouth of two rivers, has everything to charm you: fine sandy beaches and sunsets are the order of the day! Set back from the road, the peaceful setting offers a variety of activities to entertain young and old alike.
With a 4-star rating from Camping Québec, the NAPAGA Campground boasts clean facilities that are sure to please the whole family. It includes over 200 campsites with one to three hookups (30- or 50-amp electricity hookups, water, and/or sewer), as well as seven primitive campsites directly on the beach.
For maximum comfort, rent one of our six trailers or one of our two ready-to-camp tents.

Respecting an archaeological Site
NAPAGA Camping, like all of Espace NAPAGA, is located on the Pabos Archaeological Site — designated as a heritage site (French only) by Québec’s ministère de la Culture et des Communications for its historical, ethnological, and archaeological value.
Please help preserve it by always acting respectfully!
- All visitors to NAPAGA Camping must respect the Espace NAPAGA Code of Conduct.
- Damaging trees or cutting branches are strictly prohibited.
- Subletting your campsite, trailer, or any equipment is forbidden.
- Fires are only allowed when the fire index permits it, and using a spark guard is strongly recommended.
- No camper may change their site without written authorization from management.
Maintaining Tranquility
To ensure everyone enjoys a peaceful and pleasant stay:
- Visitors are welcome but must register at reception upon arrival,
- A curfew is in effect at 11:30 p.m. (fires, visitors, noise),
- Quiet must be always maintained; excessive noise that may disturb other campers is prohibited,
- For safety, bicycles and scooters must be stored at sunset.
Vehicles, Parking, and Traffic
To ensure safety and preserve the site’s tranquility:
- Campers must park their vehicle directly at their campsite,
- Each NAPAGA Camping contract allows a maximum of two vehicles per site,
- An additional fee of $25 applies for a third vehicle,
- Visitors must use the main parking lot at the site entrance,
- The maximum speed limit on the site is 10 km/h (6 mph),
- Noisy motorized vehicles and all-terrain vehicles are prohibited,
- Driving on the grounds is forbidden between midnight and 5:00 a.m.,
- The number of passengers in a vehicle must never exceed the legal maximum.
Waste Management
Espace NAPAGA is committed to preserving the site’s natural beauty and cleanliness. Your cooperation is essential!
- We strongly encourage sorting waste (recycling, compost, garbage).
- Dedicated bins are available in the camping parking area.
- By taking this small step, you will help reduce our environmental footprint and maintain a pleasant space for everyone.
Pets
We know your four-legged companions are part of the family! To ensure harmonious cohabitation:
- Pets are allowed in outdoor common areas and campsites where campers use their own equipment (tent, personal trailer, etc.), provided they do not harm the environment or compromise site safety,
- For hygiene reasons and to avoid allergies, pets are not allowed in ready-to-camp trailers and tents provided by the camping site,
- Pets must be leashed and supervised at all times. Excessive barking is not tolerated,
- Owners must immediately clean up after their pet and dispose of waste properly to maintain cleanliness,
- Each camper is responsible for the cleanliness of their site and immediate surroundings.
Seasonal Sites
Some sites may be occupied seasonally, with the following points to note:
- Purchasing a seasonal camper’s trailer does not automatically grant the right to occupy their leased site. Sites are assigned according to the waiting list.
- Cabins must be always maintained in good condition.
- No construction (deck, shelter, permanent or temporary structure) may occur without written authorization from management.
Important!
Espace NAPAGA cannot be held responsible for material damages occurring during the rental of a site. Each camper is responsible for holding adequate personal insurance covering their property and civil liability.
